Citizens Advice North Staffordshire Announces Our First Charity of the Year!

We are extremely excited to announce the Alice Charity as our inaugural Charity of the Year.

Alice Charity was founded in 2011 to support vulnerable and disadvantaged families across Stoke- on-Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme. They work to support our communities through family groups, food parcels, emotional support, and much more.

Their values of Unconditional Love and Courtesy, link well with our own values of Empower, Encourage, Enable to ensure our communities in North Staffordshire can flourish and will be supported with any issues they face.

Our CEO, Craig Browne shared his thoughts on our new partnership “I am delighted that we have chosen the Alice Charity as our Charity of the Year for the next twelve months and look forward to working with CEO Heather Sheldon to develop and grow a genuinely supportive partnership between our respective organisations. I believe the values of the Alice Charity and Citizens Advice North Staffordshire naturally complement each other as we seek to empower families and communities whilst working to relieve poverty across Stoke-on-Trent and beyond.”

Heather Sheldon, CEO of Alice Charity stated “We’re incredibly proud to be working in partnership with Citizens Advice North Staffordshire and honoured to be named their Charity of the Year. This growing partnership reflects our shared commitment to supporting families through complex challenges, and together we can make a real difference to the wellbeing and resilience of our local communities.”

We are looking forward to developing our partnership and to work closely with the Alice Charity on future projects.
